Students find way to save on energy (The Waynesboro Record Herald)
Monday, May 11th, 2009Thanks to a group of high school students, Greencastle-Antrim School District’s environmental center, Tayamentasachta, is going greener. Pending approval at tonight’s school board meeting, the students hope to install a wind turbine at the school farm to generate enough energy to power an aerator in the middle of the pond. The aerator adds oxygen to the water to promote life in the pond.
